LEGALBENCH

About LegalBench

A Pakistan-first legal services marketplace, developed by TechAbout, with clear professional profiles and jurisdiction-specific legal help.

Legal help should begin with clarity

LegalBench helps people and businesses find legal professionals, understand their professional background and start a conversation about a legal matter. Our focus starts in Pakistan, with a platform designed for clients and lawyers in other countries too. The relevant jurisdiction comes first: where you live is not always where your legal issue needs to be handled.

The people and organisations behind the product

SG & AK Advocates is the Pakistan law firm associated with LegalBench. TechAbout Private Limited in Pakistan develops the product, alongside TechAbout LLC in the United States. The technology companies develop the platform; professional legal work is undertaken by the law firm or the independently engaged lawyer identified in your engagement terms. No relationship between these organisations gives a lawyer practising rights in another country.

What you can do here

  • Browse professional profiles by country and practice area.
  • Read the scope of the admission that has been reviewed.
  • Create a client account and organise a legal matter privately.
  • Discuss the next step, conflicts, fees and documents with a suitable lawyer.
  • Apply for a professional lawyer profile and submit admission details for review.

A platform built on evidence

We do not present every registered account as a licensed lawyer. Identity checks, professional admission and relevant experience are different things. The public directory uses a separate admission-review process. We do not promise a particular result, a response time that has not been agreed, or lawyer availability in every location. Read how professional admission review works.
