For LegalBench privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected] or use the contact form with “Privacy request”. TechAbout Private Limited in Pakistan develops the product, alongside TechAbout LLC in the United States. SG & AK Advocates is the Pakistan law firm associated with the platform. A separately engaged lawyer or firm may also have its own professional privacy responsibilities.

Why information is used
Information is used to operate accounts and platform features, review professional admissions, handle enquiries, facilitate the communications you request, maintain relevant records, investigate misuse and meet applicable obligations. Do not enter confidential legal records into a general contact form or public professional biography. Submit only information you are entitled to provide and what is necessary for the relevant purpose.
What becomes public and what does not
Approved professional profiles may display the professional name, biography, practice information and the admission details identified for publication. Supporting admission files and private review notes are not published with the profile. Detailed matter pages, private uploads and contact enquiries use access controls. An ordinary profile or message should not be assumed to carry the same confidentiality or privilege as a confirmed lawyer–client engagement. Agree the professional’s process before sharing highly sensitive evidence.
Service providers and international use
Hosting, communications and any enabled payment or other service providers may process information needed for their functions. A payment service may collect payment information under its own notice. Optional third-party analytics or marketing scripts are subject to the site’s settings and cookie choice. External links, including WhatsApp, take you to another provider. Cross-border users should discuss relevant transfer and professional-confidentiality requirements before sending sensitive records to a lawyer in another country.
Retention and requests
Records are retained according to the purpose for which they are needed, account operation, security and applicable legal or professional obligations. We do not promise that closing an account erases records that must be retained. You may ask about access, correction, deletion or another applicable privacy right through the contact route. We may need proportionate information to identify your account and understand the request; do not send identity documents unless a specific secure process is agreed.
Cookies and security
Read the Cookie Notice. Protect your account with a strong password and report suspected unauthorised access promptly. No internet service can promise absolute security. This notice was published on 31 October 2026 and should be updated when the platform’s actual processing changes.
