Use accurate professional information
Use your own identity and professional admission. Do not exaggerate practising rights, court access, experience, regulator relationships, success rates, awards or client endorsements. Keep the scope and limitations of each jurisdiction clear. Report any change that affects a published admission. Students and other non-admitted users must not present academic status as a practising licence.
Respect professional obligations
Lawyers must consider the rules applicable to their jurisdiction, including conflicts, confidentiality, competence, advertising, solicitation, professional fees and client-money handling. A platform feature does not override those duties. Do not promise an outcome, special influence, improper access or a result that cannot be guaranteed.
Communicate respectfully
Discuss the matter and the work without harassment, threats, unlawful discrimination or misleading allegations. Do not publish a client’s sensitive information, another professional’s private documents or personal contact details without authority. Use a complaint channel for a factual concern rather than public abuse.
Keep scope and money clear
Identify the provider, scope, currency, fee basis and external expenses before work starts. Do not misdescribe a platform balance as a regulated trust or escrow account, and do not ask a client for passwords, authentication codes or unnecessary payment information. Do not use the platform to evade applicable professional or financial rules.
Report a concern
Use Complaints and Concerns or contact support with relevant references and a factual explanation. Reported material and account access may be reviewed. Professional regulators and courts retain their own roles; a platform review is not a disciplinary determination.
