Legal Request Posting Guidelines

Publish a useful, non-confidential legal brief and keep private instructions and documents in the protected workspace.

Write for the right professional

Use a clear title, the applicable country, a relevant practice area and a summary of the work you need. Explain the deliverable or decision, rather than posting a complete case file.

Keep the public brief non-confidential

  • Avoid names, personal contact details, government identifiers, banking details and private addresses.
  • Do not publish another person’s confidential records, correspondence or evidence.
  • Do not reveal privileged instructions or information you do not have authority to share.
  • Use private instructions and the agreed document process for sensitive details.

Budget and scope

An indicative budget helps professionals understand the request. Select its currency and explain what the amount is intended to cover. A budget is not a guaranteed fixed price or an exchange-rate conversion.

Control publication

You can unpublish an open brief from its request page. Once an engagement is selected, the brief is removed from open browsing. Previously viewed, downloaded or cached copies may remain outside the platform’s control.
